If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably spent countless hours pondering the important questions in life, like “what watch does Michael Scott wear?” After all, he’s a man of impeccable style and taste.
Michael Scott wears a Timex Perpetual Calendar watch throughout most episodes of the US Office that he features in. In fact, he proudly shows it off in several episodes of the show, and even goes so far as to refer to it as his “timepiece”.
It’s clear that Michael takes great pride in his watch. This is generally to reinforce the fact that Michael cares about his image, but whilst also not receiving a great salary, hes a bit of a halfwit and arguably sees Timex as more of a luxury brand than it is. This doesn’t mean that Timex isn’t legendary in it’s own right, it’s just that it is a very much affordable brand. Michaels watch is actually very nice though, and takes a similar styling to that of the TAG Heuer Monaco line of watches.
Let’s also not forget about Michael’s nod to the Seiko brand – his proud owner of a “Seyko” certificate on the wall is a testament to his appreciation for quality timepieces, regardless of the brand.
All in all, it’s clear that Michael Scott takes his watches seriously, but maybe his knowledge isn’t quite as good as he thinks. Similarly to his knowledge of clothes, which led him to wearing a ladies suit in season 3.

Steve Carell, who plays Michael Scott, has a bit more of a flashy watch collection in real life. According to Rubber B, Steve Carell has been seen wearing a Rolex Batman, a Rolex Submariner, and an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch.
Carell has also been seen wearing a 40mm Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, showing he’s clearly a fan of the brand, which also led him to buying every cast member of the Office (US) a Rolex when he left the show!
