With several high-profile GMT releases from some of the largest brands in the industry, TAG Heuer is the latest brand to make its mark in this area of the industry.
As a brand that needs no introduction, the Swiss watchmakers have supplied us with the new Aquaracer Professional 300, which features an attractive color palette in addition to its own take on the first-generation Aquaracer Professional 300 diver from 2021.
What’s New With The Aquaracer Professional 300?
Instantly creating its own lane with this aesthetic and standing out from a number of GMTs, the piece then flaunts a classic colorway that really emphasises the aqua feel of the watch. The white and navy blue creates an emphasis on the Aquaracer’s nautical background, but the design is ready to be worn with a number of outfits.
On the sapphire crystal glass sits a date magnifier, whilst the rotating crown is then decorated with the TAG Heuer logo engravement for an extra flourish. An engraved caseback makes a striking addition to the watch, with a contemporary take on the classic diver’s helmet motif the brand is known so well for, rounding the watch off with a nod back to its roots.
The Movement
It wouldn’t be a TAG piece if it wasn’t crafted with the ETA 2892-A2-based Calibre 7 automatic GMT movement. After becoming a staple in TAG’s output for years, it’s fair to say this piece is going to be reliable. With a 50-hour power reserve and beating at a rate of 28,800 bph, this GMT is moving with muscle thanks to the Calibre 7 movement we’ve learned to trust.

With an already elegant case and design to the dial and bezel, this piece then comes with a variety of strap options to choose from.
